At each event there will be 10 people dressed as banana's starting 5 minutes before the mass start. They will all be running at different paces to give everyone the chance to beat at least one banana!
However, these are not your everyday bananas. The 10 starting bananas are all people who have suffered from Leukaemia and related blood diseases first hand. They have either had a blood cancer themselves or a close family member or friend.
The Bananaman Chase 10k and Junior 2k at Kempton Park this year was a huge success, please see below for race results and individual runner pictures for the 10k. We are now looking forward to the Bananaman Chase and Junior Bananaman Chase events at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes on 21st September.
